「Product No.9 sukajan」
After numerous drafts and repeated trial and error, the motif we ultimately arrived at was the dragon—
a creature that not only holds symbolic significance in sukajan culture, but also appears in Ryutaro Arimura’s own name.
Though long spoken of as a mythical being, the dragon has emerged time and again in legends and folklore as a symbol of power, endlessly captivating those who encounter it.

This design was inspired by a dragon painted by Kyōsai Kawanabe, an ukiyo-e artist who was active from the late Edo to Meiji era—a work that profoundly moved producer Ryutaro Arimura.
In order to preserve the essence of that world while reimagining it through the unique lens of “the closet,” the dragon was redrawn as a completely original design.

「Product No.9 leather skirt」

A striking contrast born from layering delicate chiffon pleats over the hard, distinctive texture of leather—
a beautiful interplay of opposing materials.
Stillness and motion. Structure and softness.
Much like the music Ryutaro Arimura himself creates,
this skirt holds two contrasting expressions within a single form.
